Since 2022, Jade yhteisö ry from Finland, in collaboration with partners from Sweden, Belgium, Austria, and Italy, has been part of the Erasmus+ project Diversity Sensitive Care for Older People with Migrant Background and Their Families: https://www.diversitysensitycare.eu/. This project focuses on developing diversity skills for professionals and students in the social and healthcare sectors. Training on Diversity Competence In the initial phase of the project, a comprehensive training package on diversity competence was created and piloted. The final version, set to launch in late autumn 2024, will be available in multiple languages to support educational institutions and trainers. Online Learning Opportunities As part of the project, an online learning platform on diversity-sensitive care is now open for testing. Participants can take part in the course free of charge, progress at their own pace, and provide valuable feedback. The platform is available in several languages! Webinars on Inclusion and Equality The project also includes series of monthly webinars that started in October 2024.
