Last week, ENIEC said goodbye to Olivia Vanmechelen as chair of the past few years during the annual general meeting in Frankfurt. Together with outgoing board member Ellen Pals and the board members whose term is still ongoing, Olivia received many compliments and thanks for how they have fulfilled their roles in the period when ENIEC had to recover somewhat after the COVID period. Incidentally, ENIEC also remained viable during the COVID period thanks to digital annual meetings and all sorts of other creative activities under the previous board. In recent years, ENIEC has grown, broadened, revitalised, and we now see more different professional groups returning among our members. We would like to take this opportunity to once again express our thanks to Olivia and Ellen. Ellen and Olivia remain ordinary members and are already active again in various working groups and committees. That’s how it works, the commitment continues.
