During the Annual General Meeting of ENIEC held in Frankfurt in April 2027, Sven Claes and Carolien Smits were elected to the new board. Two additional positions became available due to the expiry of the terms of Olivia Vanmechelen and Ellen Pals. The 2026 Nominating Committee, consisting of Lola Casal-Sanchez and Conny van der Aalsvoort, after a careful procedure, nominated both candidates to the members. They reported on their process and considerations during the Annual General Meeting, at which Carolien and Sven also explained their nominations. As a board member of ENIEC, your term lasts two years, and there is the possibility of being re-elected for a further two years after standing for re-election. Best of luck to our two new board members, who, together with Nikolett Arnold, Frans Hoogeveen and Marja Säikkä, form the new board.
