More about Farzaneh

Professional perspective.

With more than 25 years of experience working with immigrants and their families, my professional path has been dedicated to promoting inclusion, equality, and dignity in care. My work combines practical support, advocacy, and method development aimed at strengthening services and understanding across cultures. Through close collaboration with communities, NGOs, and professionals, I have gained a deep insight into the challenges and strengths within migration and integration. I believe that effective care begins with listening — recognising each individual’s background, values, and potential. This long experience has shaped my professional identity: one built on empathy, cross-cultural dialogue, and the continuous effort to create environments where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.Art and poetic vision Alongside my professional work, art and poetry serve as vital ways to reflect and express human experience. Painting — both abstract and realistic — allows me to reveal what often remains unseen: emotions, memories, and silent connections between people and their surroundings. My artistic process transforms inner feelings into visual narratives that speak of resilience, beauty, and vulnerability. Poetry, especially in concise forms such as haiku and aphorisms, captures fleeting moments of life — the pauses between words where meaning quietly unfolds. Through both art and writing, I explore the essence of being human: how empathy, creativity, and reflection can bring depth to our encounters. These creative dimensions continuously inform and enrich my professional perspective, reminding me that care, much like art, is an act of presence, understanding, and hope.
