During the annual meeting in Gdansk we concluded that the ENIEC members were positive about an online meeting once a year with a topic of interest. The Communications group are therefore organising an online meeting on the 9th of November from 19.00-20.30 (CET).
The topic of the meeting is to reflect on what we have learnt since ENIEC started about intercultural care, and importantly, what the future looks like in terms of aged care for migrant and minority populations.
During panel discussions with ENIEC members and in break out groups with all the participants we will discuss the following questions:
- How was the situation at the start of ENIEC concerning the care of older migrants in (west) Europe? What has changed if we look back?
- What are the expectations for the near future of the care?
- How can we contribute as ENIEC to push intercultural care forward?
