The ENIEC Annual Meeting in 2027 will take place in Belgium, from 21 to 23 April. An initial organising committee has already been formed and currently consists of Cynthia, Katia, Olivia, Hakki, Anneke, and Saloua. In the coming months, plans will be developed and further refined later in the year. Where and in which city or cities we will gather is still a topic of discussion. There is so much to listen to, visit, experience, and discuss together in Belgium, a country that has extensive experience in bridging differences, as well as with the difficulties this can bring.
2027 is also the year in which ENIEC celebrates its 20th anniversary. We will look both back and forward, continuously renewing ourselves in a rapidly changing world. Precisely in this context, the issue of older people living far from where they were born and grew up, and what this means, is expected to become more prominent on the agenda across Europe. A place where people from all over Europe can come together to exchange experiences, knowledge, and skills has proven important over the past decades and will remain so in the years to come.
The only criterion for being able to become a member of ENIEC is that you are interested in and committed to the issue of these older people.
