The Estonian Dementia Competence Center organized in cooperation with Eniec dementia specialists the Conference What Year Are We Really In? The purpose of the conference is to provide inspiration and share experience for professionals and carers on how to support people with dementia, including their ethnic background. Also, the main issues for the organizers are, what are the options and how to behave?
Eniec board members, Conny Van der Aalsvoort and Jennifer van den Broeke, together with Siiri Jackson, Chair of the organizing committee of the Annual meeting 2019, and Frans R. Hoogeveen, Dutch Eniec member will strongly contribute to the program with four inspirational presentations
- Standard and Dementia Care for People with Low Health Awareness, Dr. Jennifer R. van den Broeke,
- Intimacy and Sexuality in People with Dementia, Dr. Frans R. Hoogeveen,
- Carer for a person with dementia. The role of public administrations’, Conny van der Aalsvoort,
- A Cultural Sensitive Approach to Memory Work ”, Siiri JaaksonThe conference will be translated into Estonian – Russian – English
Anyone who is interested in Estonia and dementia developments in Estonia is welcome.
